Undertale Yellow is a fan-made continuation of the popular game Undertale, introducing a new protagonist, Clover. The game begins with the backdrop of monsters trapped under Mount Ebott by a powerful spell, which can only be broken with the power of seven human souls. The king of the monsters, averse to bloodshed, vows that any human falling into the Underground will be killed.
In the game, children mysteriously disappear on Mount Ebott, and Clover sets out to find and rescue them, hoping to end these mysterious vanishings. Like the other children before him, Clover falls through a hole in Mount Ebott and lands on golden flowers. He is discovered by Toriel, the keeper of the Ruins, who helps him adjust to this new world. However, things do not go as planned, and the protagonist finds himself in dark ruins.
The gameplay of Undertale Yellow closely mirrors that of the original Undertale, but with significant differences. The combat system has been modified: the old accuracy indicator is replaced with a new target, hitting the center of which deals maximum damage. Flowey serves as the save point and assists the player throughout the game. The player cannot choose the protagonist’s name at the beginning nor change his equipment, maintaining adherence to the game’s canon. Additionally, new locations and characters have been introduced, enriching the game’s universe and story.
